He graduated from Istanbul University State Conservatory, Department of Acting, in 1989, and studied vocal training at the same institution between 1988 and 1990.

Since 1989, he has been working as a voice actor for TRT, as well as various other institutions. He has also worked as a radio producer and presenter. In 1998, he completed his Master’s degree in Acting at Istanbul University Institute of Social Sciences.

Between 1992 and 2010, he served as a lecturer at Istanbul Technical University, Department of Fine Arts. From 2003 to 2010, he was a faculty member at Türker İnanoğlu Foundation (TÜRVAK) Cinema-TV School, and between 2017 and 2019, he taught at Izmir Folkart Academy. He also served as a board member and Deputy General Art Director at Istanbul City Theatres. Since 2019, he has been teaching at Yeni Yüzyıl University, Faculty of Fine Arts.
